Jed York's Wikipedia Page Edits Get Nasty After Niners Lose To Seahawks
SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- Jed York was probably not feeling the love from his Wikipedia page after someone edited info about the San Francisco 49ers owner following the team's crushing loss to the Seattle Seahawks Thursday night.
"He was appointed to the position by his parents even though it is blatantly obvious that he didn't deserve it," the second line of the bio reads.
The changes prompted a message at the top of the Wikipedia page, stating that the neutrality of the article is disputed.
"He, for the sake of money, has driven the franchise into the ground. Jed is credited with ruining the once proud 49ers franchise, is disliked by the entirety of the team's fanbase, and cares more about the bottom line than winning," the bio goes on to read.
The Niners lost to the Seahawks 20-3.
