(CBS NEWS) – Harrison Ford says fans won’t be disappointed with the new “Star Wars” film.

The actor (dressed in a hot dog costume, by the way) appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday and said the new cast members are “phenomenal,” adding that director J.J. Abrams “has made an incredible movie.”

“You will not be disappointed at all,” he said, noting at one point, “I can tell you this: It’s really, really good.”
OK, Ford … we’ll see if you’re right come December 18th when “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” hits theaters.

Kimmel also asked Ford why Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker character isn’t featured on the film’s official poster. Ford said there’s a good reason why — but he wouldn’t elaborate.

Also during the segment Kimmel asked Ford how he’s been doing since his plane crash earlier this year. “I’m glad to see you alive. You were in a plane crash; do you remember?” Kimmel asked.

“The engine stopping; I remember that part very well,” Ford said, laughing. “And then I remember telling the tower what I was going to do,” which was to ignore the recommendation to take the normal route to land. He also said he doesn’t remember going down.
