Also during the segment Kimmel asked Ford how he’s been doing since his plane crash earlier this year. “I’m glad to see you alive. You were in a plane crash; do you remember?” Kimmel asked.
“The engine stopping; I remember that part very well,” Ford said, laughing. “And then I remember telling the tower what I was going to do,” which was to ignore the recommendation to take the normal route to land.
