Bicyclist Struck, Killed By Car Near Palo Alto
PALO ALTO (CBS SF) -- A bicyclist was struck and killed by a car just outside of Palo Alto Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 6:53 a.m. when a black Volkswagen Golf hit a bicyclist near the intersection of Page Mill Road and Christopher Lane, CHP officials said.
The Santa Clara County coroner's office was called to the area at 7:26 a.m.
According to the CHP report, the car was a black Volkswagen Golf.
