Powerful 7.0 Quake Strikes Solomon Islands
SOLOMON ISLANDS (CBS SF) - A powerful 7.0 magnitude quake struck the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific, Wednesday at 10:31 a.m. PST.
The quake occurred near the city of Dadali, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
No tsunami alert has been issued. The damage assessment is pending.
