Tesla Releases Price Of Model X Crossover SUV
PALO ALTO (KPIX 5) -- Tesla released the price of their new crossover SUV.
The Palo Alto-based company said the standard version of the Model X with its distinct "falcon-wing doors" will cost about $81,200.
The fully-loaded Signature version of the Model X went on sale in September for $132,000.
Model X buyers can qualify for $10,000 in federal and state rebates.
According to Forbes, there is a backlog of more than 25,000 orders on the Model X perhaps due to "years of delays in the original Model X timeline."
