MONROVIA (CBS SF) — Trader Joe’s has issued a voluntary recall of its Triple Ginger Brew brand of ginger ale following reports of unopened bottles shattering and exploding from customers.

While the ginger brew does not pose a health risk if consumed, all bottles have been removed from store shelves and destroyed as a precaution after the company received calls from customers who had unopened bottles of the ginger ale shatter or burst.
