Police Arrest Union City Burglary Suspect Caught On Video
UNION CITY (CBS-SF) – A 55-year-old Livermore man who was captured on surveillance video allegedly breaking into a Union City home on Dec. 26th has been arrested, authorities said.
Police said John Winchester had been taken into custody on Monday after the video of the break-in was posted by the victim on Facebook and generated several leads.
Winchester has also been identified a suspect in a package theft that occurred in Pleasanton -- a crime being investigated by Pleasanton police.
Investigator said Winchester also was seen driving a silver Toyota 4-Runner (CA# 6JSL595).
