San Jose Man Arrested In Series Of Indecent Exposure Incidents

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with a series of recent indecent exposure incidents in San Jose.

John Ha, 37, of San Jose, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of 32 counts of lewd acts, indecent exposure and annoying/molesting a child, according to the San Jose Police Department.

In January, detectives discovered a connection between a series of indecent exposure cases involving a gray Honda Accord.

Police said the driver was frequenting schools in San Jose and would wait for juvenile females walking alone to school in the morning.

The suspect would make eye contact with the victims while masturbating and exposing himself.

Detectives were able to identify 14 incidents involving the suspect, police said. In these cases, the victims were between the ages of 14 and 17 years old.

Ha was arrested at his work in Milpitas and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
