Dozens Displaced By 3-Alarm Fire In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Fire crews have contained a 3-alarm fire in San Francisco's North Panhandle neighborhood.

The fire at 1571 Fulton St. and 573 Baker St. was first reported by firefighters on Twitter at 8:22 p.m. The blaze was soon upgraded from two-alarms to three alarms. It was contained by 9:27 p.m.

At least 25 people have been displaced. Fire officials were warning people who live nearby to close their windows and turn on fans because of the heavy smoke the burning structures were generating.

One child was injured in the blaze.
