Storm Moving Into Bay Area Could Bring Flash Floods, Mudslides To Yosemite
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Stormy weather moving into the Bay Area has the National Weather Service warning people to be prepared, and drive carefully on roads.
Visitors heading to Yosemite National Park this weekend are also being urged to be prepared for very stormy weather.
The National Weather Service posted a flash flood watch for the Sierra Nevada below 6,000 feet from Yosemite south to Kings Canyon National Park.

The watch will be in effect from Saturday evening through Monday afternoon. The incoming storms are expected to dump 5 inches of rain over the area during that time.
The Weather Service says mudslides, rockslides, flooded roads, downed trees and power outages can be expected.
Back in the Bay Area, the San Francisco Fire Department tweeted tips for safe driving in the rain.
