SANTA CLARA (KPIX 5) – State officials have cracked down on a popular Santa Clara nightclub, after being warned to tone it down.

Taste Nightclub on Lakeside Drive is losing its liquor license for 15 days, after an undercover investigation. The suspension comes after a number of police reports of fights and public drunkenness.

“The 15-day suspension came also with a one-year probation period,” John Carr of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control told KPIX 5. “ABC could move forward with disciplinary action which could result in more suspension time or even on up to the revocation of the license.”
