SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Tahoe ski resorts are open but there are dangerous road conditions for people driving to or from the Sierra.

A winter storm warning is in effect until Monday morning according to the National Weather Service.

Several feet of snow already has blanketed the region and another 2 to 4 feet is expected to fall through Monday.

The roads are a mess, and there have been several spin-outs. Chains are required all weekend.
