SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A mob of teenagers used a tree branch to rob a man in San Francisco, police said.

Police say the group of about six to seven boys followed a man to Bowman Court in the Hunters Point neighborhood.

When they got to the intersection, police say they came up from behind and hit the victim in the back of the head with the branch.

The victim fell to the ground, and the suspects snatched his wallet.

The man was bruised up, but is expected to be okay.
