POINT REYES (CBS SF) — A search and rescue team deployed to the Point Reyes National Seashore for a cliff rescue of three people Monday night, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies announced via Twitter at 8:55 p.m. that personnel were en route to the scene to assist firefighters with three victims who were stuck on rocky cliffs.

The search and rescue team is assisting Bolinas and Marin County emergency crews.

The three people are apparently stranded near the Palomarin Trail, a popular hiking trail that connects visitors to Alamere Falls, just north of Bolinas.
