Longtime KCBS Radio anchor and Bay Area broadcasting legend Al Hart will be remembered at a public celebration of his life on Saturday in Alameda.

Hart, who spent 34 years at KCBS, passed away in January following a long illness. He was 88.

The public celebration will include live performances of some of Hart’s favorite music along with some of his own recordings, a multimedia presentation, remarks from some of his longtime colleagues, and something special for dessert.
