They’re happy because the priciest place to live in the U.S. is also the most dog-friendly city in America, according to a study by SmartAsset. That’s right. San Francisco. The folks at SmartAsset compared 100 U.S. cities and gave them grades based on the number of dog parks, dog-friendly restaurants and shopping centers, walkability, home values and rain-free days. Turns out, the City by the Bay has the seventh most dog parks per 100,000 people. There are 174 dog-friendly places to dine. And when it comes to walking, second to New York City, its the most walkable city in the country.
