SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — California Senator Dianne Feinstein of San Francisco met Wednesday with US Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland, and said he’s the right man for the time.

Feinstein has met with seven previous nominees and said Garland is the only judge who she hasn’t heard criticized.   He has met with senators in both parties in recent days.
