Taxi Driver Beaten By 2 Female Passengers In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- A San Francisco taxi driver is recovering after being beaten by two female passengers.
The assault happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning when police say the suspects got out of the taxi on the Embarcadero and Folsom Street, and refused to pay.
The two women allegedly beat and kicked the driver to the ground, and stole his phone and car keys.
Police arrested the women, and the taxi driver is expected to recover.
