More 'Wet Hot American Summer' Coming To Netflix

LOS GATOS (CBS NEWS) – Good news, comedy fans. Those lovably awkward '80s camp counselors from "Wet Hot American Summer" are coming back to Netflix -- just not necessarily at camp, though.

Netflix announced Wednesday that a new series, "Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later," will debut next year on the streaming service. The series follows up on 2015's "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp," which itself was a long-awaited prequel to the 2001 cult comedy "Wet Hot American Summer."

The series, which will have eight 30-minute episodes, will debut in 2017 and will once again be written by Michael Showalter and David Wain, with Wain also serving as director.
