'Take Care Of Your Brother Or He's Next' Found Inside Home Of Slain San Jose Couple

SAN JOSE (KPIX 5) -- A family friend of the couple found dead in their San Jose home is urging one of the couple's sons to come forward with any information he may have about the grisly murder.

In the four days since his parents Golam and Shamima were found brutally murdered, their oldest son Hasid has not only been missing, but considered by many to be the missing piece of a puzzle that might begin to explain why this devoted and devout couple were killed.

"These are among the gentlest, kindest, politest people I've ever met in my life, and that is why what happened is such a shock for all of us," family friend Hasan Rahim told KPIX 5.

Police have said virtually nothing about their investigation, but into that vacuum, others have added disturbing details about the crime scene, including a sarcastic and cruel note taunting police and the family that was scrawled on the floor near the bodies.

One of the notes read, "sorry, my first kill was clumsy."

Investigators removed a section of dry wall from the home Tuesday night with another message that appeared to read, "take care of your brother or he's next."

Longtime family friend Hasan Rahim is urging Hasid to help with the investigation.

"I definitely want closure. And I think he can shed light on what happened.  And that is why I want him, if possible, to come forward," Rahim said.
