Pair Of Whales Seen Swimming In San Francisco Bay
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Some people on San Francisco's waterfront got a surprise Monday afternoon when two whales were seen swimming between Alcatraz and Angel Island.
Chopper 5 managed to spot the pair and get footage of the whales swimming side by side just off Crissy Field.
It was not clear if this was a mother and her calf or if they were Humpback whales, the species that frequently visits San Francisco Bay. The two sea mammals were heading out towards the Golden Gate Bridge.
