Injury Accident Blocks Southbound Lanes Of 280 In San Mateo County
SAN MATEO COUNTY (CBS SF) -- A traffic alert was issued in the South Bay Tuesday afternoon after an injury crash on southbound 280 involving an overturned vehicle that blocked several lanes.
The accident was reported shortly after 4 p.m. on I-280 near Edgewood Road in San Mateo County.
Three left lanes of southbound 280 were blocked by the accident. Emergency units were responding to the reported injury accident.
Traffic was already backed up to almost to Hwy 92.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and to avoid the area. The vehicle was cleared and all lanes were open by shortly before 5 p.m.
