Outages Cut Off Comcast Customers Across Bay Area, Nationwide

(CBS SF) -- Comcast customers have reported outages in the Bay Area and in cities across the U.S. Monday.

Mountain View, Oakland, San Jose, and San Francisco Comcast customers had no service late Monday morning. Customers in Chicago, Houston, Seattle, Denver, Portland and Washington, D.C. also reported outages.

The website downdetector.com reported that Comcast was having issues as of 2:23 AM PDT. The website said most of the issues reported were Internet-related (64%). TV outages were 18 percent, while another 17 percent reported a total blackout.

Commenters on the downdetector.com website have also reported Comcast outages over the last several days.
