Politico reported Tuesday that Trump is expected to hold a rally in San Jose on Thursday. The time and location of the event has not yet been announced.

The candidate last made an appearance in the Bay Area on April 29th at the California Republican Party convention in Burlingame. Trump was forced to hop a fence off the side of Highway 101 and enter through the back of the Hyatt Regency hotel, as protesters blocked the entrance.

Despite gathering enough delegates to clinch the Republican nomination and protests outside his events, the candidate has made repeated appearances in California in the weeks ahead of the June 7th primary.

Trump's latest appearance in the Golden State was on Friday. At a rally in Fresno, Trump denied the state is in a drought and blamed environmentalists for denying water to Central Valley farmers. Trump also held a rally in San Diego, where about 1,000 protesters gathered outside, decrying his proposal to wall off the U.S. / Mexico border.
