Day Before Primary, Bill Clinton Campaigns For Hillary In Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Former President Bill Clinton will be campaigning Monday in five Bay Area cities for his wife and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as she tries to secure the Democratic presidential nomination.

The former president will talk about why Hillary is the best candidate to move wages higher and improve the futures of families.

Mr. Clinton will start his day at 10:45 a.m. at Hayward City Hall at 777 B St. and from there go to Oakland where he'll campaign at 12:15 p.m. at the Fox Theater at 1807 Telegraph Ave.

At 2 p.m., the former president will be at Marsh Elementary School at 2304 G St. in Antioch.

Then, he'll travel to Richmond where at 3:45 p.m. he'll campaign at the Richmond Art Center at 2450 Barrett Ave.

Clinton's last stop will be in San Francisco where at 5:30 p.m. he campaign at Joseph Lee Recreation Center at 1395 Mendell St. in San Francisco's Bayview District.

The former president was in San Francisco last month at a fundraiser at an undisclosed location to raise money for his wife's presidential bid.

Hillary Clinton will be campaigning in Los Angeles County on Monday where she will argue she is best candidate to increase Californians' incomes, lower the cost of health care, improve education and improve Americans' futures.
