Oakland Man Charged With Sex Acts With Boy, Producing Child Porn

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- An Oakland man who allegedly produced child pornography at his Fruitvale home was arraigned Friday in a federal courtroom in San Francisco, according to prosecutors.

D'mar Dwain Jennings Conway, 28 has been charged with sexual exploitation of children and possession and access with intent to view child pornography, prosecutors said.

Conway was arrested last month during a search of his Fruitvale home in which Homeland Security Investigations agents seized a video camera and a digital storage card.

On the storage card, agents found several images of Conway abusing a young boy between 3 and 6 years old, engaging in various sexual acts with him at the residence, according to prosecutors.

The alleged abuse occurred between 2007 and 2010, according to prosecutors.'

If convicted, Conway could face between 15 and 30 years in prison, in addition to paying $250,000 in restitution, prosecutors said.

Conway remains in custody and is scheduled to appear again in court on July 19.
