72-Year-Old Mick Jagger To Be Father For 8th Time

By Jeff Cornell

(RADIO.COM) – Congratulations are in order! Mick Jagger is going to be a father - again.

The 72-year-old enigmatic Rolling Stones frontman is expecting a child with his girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick.

According to Billboard, the child will be the eighth for Jagger and first for the 29-year-old ballerina. The two have been dating since 2004.

Jagger currently has seven children with four different women. He has been married only once to Bianca Jagger, with whom he has daughter Jade. The singer also has four children with his longtime partner Jerry Hall.

Back on May 30, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and his wife Sally welcomed twin girls Gracie Jane and Alice Rose.

The Rolling Stones will play the inaugural California rock festival Desert Trip on consecutive weekends in October. There they will share the stage with Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, The Who and Neil Young. The only other date on the Stones' itinerary is October 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
