Tyler Hoechlin Revealed As "The Man of Steel"

(KBCW) – The CW has released a photo of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman on the upcoming season two of Supergirl. In the photo Hoechlin is standing next to Supergirl played by Melissa Benoist. This is the first time Hoechlin is seen in the famous blue suit, red cape & boots.

In mid-June, it was announced Hoechlin will take on the coveted television role once played by fellow "Supergirl" actor Dean Cain on the hit ABC series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." On Supergirl, Cain plays Kara's Earth-Father Jeremiah Danvers.

Season two of Supergirl debuts Mondays at 8:00pm on The CW this Fall.
