BRISBANE (CBS SF) — Firefighters on Wednesday evening were able to contain a grass fire burning on San Bruno Mountain.

At around 6:45 p.m., the fire was at two alarms and had consumed about 10 acres.

It’s not threatening any homes, but the smoke is visible from around the area.

Calfire units as well as firefighters from San Mateo and Santa Cruz were fighting the fire. Calfire was also providing air support.

Calfire tweeted that the fire was contained shortly before 7:30 p.m., but said crews would remain at the site to prevent flare ups.
