Menlo Park Home Red-Tagged After FBI SWAT Raid

MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- A home in Menlo Park has been red-tagged after a raid by police and an FBI SWAT team, early Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Menlo Park police said the home on Sevier Avenue was searched in connection with a case involving firearms and criminal street gangs.

Several people in the home were detained and all but one were later released.

Police said during the search, they discovered illegal and hazardous renovations inside the home. The Menlo Park Fire Protection District were called to the residence along with a Menlo Park building Inspector.

The residence was deemed not safe for habitation and red tagged.

There was no word on where the residents would relocate to in the meantime.
