San Francisco Hit-&-Run Victim Shot At While Confronting Suspect
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Shots were fired Monday night after a hit-and-run collision in San Francisco's Crocker Amazon neighborhood, police said.
The victim, a 27-year-old man, was driving in the area of Hanover and Gutenberg streets around 8 p.m. when a sedan with two men inside sideswiped his vehicle and then attempted to drive away, police said.
The victim followed the vehicle into the Excelsior neighborhood, to the area of Russia Avenue and Edinburgh Street, but the passenger in the suspect vehicle then leaned out of the window and shot at him.
The shots did not hit the victim or his vehicle. The suspects fled the area and had not been arrested as of Tuesday morning, according to police.
