According to the Instagram account ‘Tips For Jesus,’ a San Francisco Giants fan left a lasting impression her.

The patron and several of their friends ran up a $2,280 tab at the bar – certainly a night of rivalry during the game.

Then when it came time to close out the bill at 10:47 p.m., Kathleen got an amazing surprise.

The patron wrote “Go Giants” on the bill and added a $5,000 tip for her.

But it was what was written next that may have tempered Kathleen’s joy over Tuesday’s win.

The patron wrote “Game 5 Boom” – on the bill and a message on Instagram — “tipsforjesusThanks Kathleen! #OleGiants #WrigleyField #SeeYouThursdayForGame5 #tipsforjesus #godbless.”

Unfortunately, there will be no Game 5 on Thursday.

It’s not the first time a big tipper has been associated with a Bay Area team.
