SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – There is roughly 2 months before the next “Star Wars” movie comes out in theaters. The Walt Disney Company and San Francisco-based Lucasfilm has released the second trailer to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The trailer has already gone viral with over 2 Millions views in less than 10 hours of its release. The previous trailer reached over 23 Million views on YouTube. A good indicator this film will not flop in the box office.

In the 2 1/2 minute trailer, we get a better glimpse of Darth Vader than we have in the first trailer. Although, not represented verbally, lists James Earl Jones returning as the voice of Vader. Plus, we also get a better understanding of the connection Jyn Erso, actress Felicity Jones’ character, has to the Empire. The trailer revealed Mads Mikkelsen, who plays Galen Erso, Jyn’s father as the architect or designer of the infamous Death Star featured in the 1977 “Star Wars” movie.

On Monday, Lucasfilm revealed the official poster (pictured above) for “Rogue One” and announced the trailer’s release.
