Wind, Rain Wreak Havoc On Treasure Island Music Festival, 1 Hurt
TREASURE ISLAND (CBS SF) -- Dangerous winds wreaked havoc on the Treasure Island Music Festival on Saturday.
At least one woman was injured after a vending machine landed on her. Paramedics wheeled her out on a stretcher.
Organizers had to evacuate the entire vendor area as winds picked up.
The weather also impacted the music itself. All acts were pushed back an hour because many of the artists' flights were delayed.
To make up for the lost time organizers extended the festival to run through midnight.
