Miranda Lambert Takes Down Internet Trolls

By Robyn Collins

(RADIO.COM) – Country superstar Miranda Lambert may come across as a pink-pistol having, rhinestone-wearing beer drinking tough lady sometimes, but she's really a no-make-up wearing country girl at hea

The singer has just shared some personal thoughts with her Instagram followers.

The Longview, TX native took pointed shots at people posting negative or cutting comments on other people's photos (and more specifically, people commenting on how she looked during a recent television appearance).

And she wrapped up by talking about the weight of our words, the songwriter quoted Maya Angelou, who said "Words are things. You must be careful, careful about calling people out of their names, using racial pejoratives and sexual pejoratives and all that ignorance. Don't do that. Someday we'll be able to measure the power of words. I think they are things. They get on the walls. They get in your wallpaper. They get in your rugs, in your upholstery, and your clothes, and finally in to you."
