Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Deputies Seek Teenage Girl Missing Friday From Aptos Area

SANTA CRUZ (CBS SF) -- Deputies are looking for a teenage girl missing Friday from Aptos, an unincorporated community in Santa Cruz County, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Victoria "Tori" Brandenburg, 14, of Watsonville, was last seen by her boyfriend in the 100 block of Santa Cruz Avenue around 9:30 a.m., sheriff's Sgt. Chris Clark said.

The teen posted a photo on her Instagram account near railroad tracks in the area of the Seascape Beach Resort around 1 p.m., Clark said.

The girl is considered at risk because of her age, but the case doesn't appear to be suspicious, according to Clark.

Victoria is described as a Caucasian girl standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds with blond hair, he said.

She was last seen wearing a light gray crewneck sweater with light blue writing, blue jeans and brown boots, according to Clark.

Anyone with information on the girl's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's dispatch line at (831) 471-1121.
