Teen Beaten Unconscious By Group Of 18 Men After Argument Over Soccer Ball

KCBS_740 SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- A 15-year-old boy in San Francisco was beaten unconscious by a group of 18 men after he spun a soccer ball in front of one of their faces.

Police say it happened around 10 Friday night on San Bruno and Silver avenues, next to the Highway 101 overpass, The San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Police say after the teenager twirled the soccer ball, he got into some kind of argument with one of the men. Then the man and his friends, who were all between 25 and 35 years old, attacked the teen.

He was taken to a hospital with injuries that aren't considered life threatening.

No arrests have been made.
