SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — Police in San Jose have arrested a driver for felony DUI in connection with a downtown crash Thursday afternoon that killed a pedestrian.

Investigators say the pedestrian was struck by the suspect’s pick-up truck and pinned against a television news van that was parked on the street.

Two other people in the news van had injuries not considered life-threatening.
The suspect has been identified as 41-year-old Richardo Gomez.
He was booked into Thursday Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
