$100,000 San Francisco Apartment Heist Caught On Camera

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) – Police are searching for three men caught on surveillance video breaking into an apartment in the city's South of Market neighborhood and stealing at least $100,000 worth of goods.

According to authorities, the burglary took place at a high-end apartment on Channel Street near AT&T Park around 3:40 p.m. on October 17th.

Video shows a man in a hat poking his head in, looking around, then walking right in. Soon after, two other men joined the first, as they begin the burglary spree.

The first guy covers his face and walks into a bedroom. The other two also walk right past the surveillance camera several times. Video shows the burglars looking relatively well-dressed.

Police said they eventually ended up filling two suitcases with expensive watches, jewelry and electronics.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact the San Francisco Police Department.
