Listed: Dream Home Located In The Far North

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – In a Bay Area housing market where a unique residences generally carry pricetags well into the seven figures, a new listing Wednesday on online real estate giant Zillow was sure to capture some attention.

Even if would require a significant relocation if indeed it was up for sale.

Just consider these features. It is a 3-bed, 2-bath, 2,500 square foot home located on 25 secluded and heavily wooded acres.

It comes with a stable with room for eight animals, a fully built out workshop and a large fireplace ideal for roasting chestnuts on those cold winter nights.

The home is constructed of old-growth timber logged on site and would be a natural for reality real estate shows like the Discovery Channels 'Unique Home' series.

Zillow estimates the value of the home if it was to be sold has climbed from $486,000 back in late 2007 to $656,957 today. And that's without any kind of competitive bidding.

The monthly loan payment, Zillow estimates, would be $3,228, but just think of the kind of rates you could demand on Airbnb.

Where is this beauty located? Why the North Pole of course. And Zillow lists the current resident as one S. Claus.
