Prince Was In Talks For 'Paisley Park' Netflix Reality Show

LOS GATOS (CBS SF) – Prince was reportedly in talks with Netflix for a reality series centered on his home of Paisley Park.

The late icon's home in Minnesota could very well have been a part of Prince fans' weekly viewing entertainment, a spokesperson for Netflix recently confirmed. The company was in "discussions" with Prince about the series, however nothing was solidified before his untimely death in April, Billboard reports.

Photographer Maya Washington, who is also a friend of Prince, reportedly told GQ that he had talked about the show. It seems the "Purple Rain" singer was less than thrilled about the idea and told Washington he didn't want to be in it.

"Why not? You're so funny," she told him.

Prince's answer? "Maya, I can't be funny. I have to save the world."
