San Francisco Man Suspected Of Running Escort Service Accused Of Rape, Assault

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A San Francisco man suspected of running an escort service was arrested on a variety of felony charges, including rape and sex acts with a child.

43-year-old David Carrasco, also known as "Joey Noble," was arrested following an investigation which began three days prior, police said.

Investigators say Carrasco ran an escort service using Craigslist, Back Page and escortconsulting.com to advertise the service.

Carrasco was booked on rape, sodomy, lewd and lascivious acts with a child, kidnapping, pimping and pandering, and assault with a deadly weapon, among other charges, according to police.

He was booked into San Francisco jail on November 29, according to jail records. He remained in custody, with bail set at $1.5 million.

Investigators urged others who may have been victimized by Carrasco to contact the San Francisco Poilce Special Victims Unit at (415) 553-9225.
