Equipment Problem Causes Major BART Delays In East Bay
EL CERRITO (CBS SF) -- An equipment problem on the track between the El Cerrito del Norte and Richmond BART stations is causing a major delay in both directions, according to transit officials.
BART first tweeted about the problem at 3:39 p.m.
The transit agency later clarified that it was an equipment problem on the track causing the delay. Just before 4 p.m., the agency tweeted that service was recovering from the delay.
