CHULA VISTA, San Diego County (AP) — Authorities say a California man was arrested on suspicion of shooting at his ex-girlfriend through a glass door while she was standing inside her house, managing an in-home daycare.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports Chula Vista Police Lt. Dan Peak says the woman led the seven children in her care to a bathroom Monday when her ex-boyfriend shot several rounds at her.
