2 Arrested, 1 Sought After Millbrae Home Burglary

MILLBRAE (CBS SF) -- Sheriff's officials said law enforcement officers arrested two suspects who were trying to burglarize a Millbrae home Wednesday afternoon, but a third was at large.

Sheriff's deputies responded around 1:30 p.m. to a home in the 100  block of Arroyo Seco.

A woman in the home called 911 after seeing males she didn't recognize on her security camera and heard a loud bang, sheriff's spokesman
Detective Sal Zuno said.

The woman hid in a safe place in her home and saw three suspects going through her personal property.

As deputies arrived they saw the suspects in the home's driveway.

Two suspects ran and the third tried to ram his car past two patrol cars. But when his vehicle became disabled he also ran.

Deputies and police from San Bruno and Burlingame searched the area and found two suspects.

The suspects were arrested and will be taken to the county jail.

No one was injured and law enforcement officers did not see any weapons.

Sheriff's officials were not releasing the names of the suspects yet because the investigation is ongoing, Zuno said.

Anyone with information related to the home invasion is asked to get in touch with Detective Joe Cang at (650) 259-2417 or at jcang@smcgov.org.
