San Francisco 'Safe Overnight Parking' Pilot Program Approved

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - San Francisco's board of supervisors have approved a pilot program that will allow overnight parking for people living in cars or RV's.

The board unanimously approved the overnight safe parking pilot program Tuesday. It will create a triage center where people can live while figuring out their housing situation.

The location would also provide city services.

Mayor London Breed has committed $1 million toward funding the program.
