El Cerrito High School Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

EL CERRITO (CBS SF) - El Cerrito High School was evacuated Wednesday afternoon due to an online threat, according to school officials.

Students were held on the school's football field until they were evacuated from the school around 1:15 p.m.

Parents were asked not to come to the campus to keep streets clear for emergency vehicles.

Students could be picked up at Harding Elementary School at 7230 Fairmount Avenue.

The school was searched and no explosive devices were found.

No further details were immediately available.
