PLEASANTON (CBS SF) – A fuel spill from a stalled big rig caused traffic delays on Interstate 680 in Pleasanton Thursday morning.

A sig alert was issued around 4:21 a.m. after the spill on southbound I-680 at the Bernal off-ramp. The off-ramp was closed due to the incident.

Southbound 680 morning commute traffic was backed up a couple of miles to the 580/680 Dublin interchange.

Caltrans assisted with the clean up effort, and all lanes were reopened around 7:40 a.m.
