STINSON BEACH (CBS SF) – The body of an adult male was recovered from the north end of Stinson Beach Wednesday morning, park officials said.

The body of the individual recovered from the beach around 7:15 a.m. matches the description of a person who went missing on June 11 after being seen swimming offshore at the south end of the park.

The name of the person will not be released out of respect for the privacy of the family.
