Power Restored Following San Francisco Outage In Dogpatch, Potrero Hill, SoMa, Mission Bay

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- An estimated 2,000 customers lost power in San Francisco Monday afternoon following an outage, according to Pacific Gas and Electric.

The utility reported the outage began at around 3:30 p.m. in the area of the Dogpatch, Potrero Hill, Mission Bay, and SoMa districts.

Power was restored by 5:24 p.m. according to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.

The cause of the outage was not immediately clear.
